Pottawatomie Garden Club does Spring Clean-up along Fox River

The Pottawatomie Garden Club of St. Charles was busy with spring clean-up of the native plant area along the Bob Leonard Walkway just south of the Main St. Bridge. As part of the agreement between the City of St. Charles and the River Corridor Foundation, the Garden Club was trained and agreed to do the maintenance for three years to complete the 6 year time frame needed to get the native plants established.

A BIG THANKS for their commitment to the native plantings along the Walkway and Fox River, and all their hard work and knowledge to get them established!

They add to the beauty of the river by just being there. I saw them working. What a terrific asset they are for St. Charles.

Please help us make the Fox River Corridor of St. Charles a community centerpiece that is a destination for all. Donate a Bob Leonard Walkway Legacy Brick
